Monterrey school in Vigo validates an App with VR and AI to overcome fear of public speaking: “It’s easier if you know that no one real is going to judge you”.
There is a lot of talk these days about ChatGPT, Artificial Intelligence the tool that writes with solvency everything you ask for and that is causing headaches in high schools and universities (by doing the “homework” to students, it creates a dilemma with plagiarism); but not everything has to be bad and many are convinced that these technological advances can also bring great advantages to the education sector.
Just ask the ESO students of the Monterrey school in Vigo, who have started the year testing an application that uses Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality to transform the nerves when speaking in public and turn them into energy that empowers them.
Specifically, what the tool does is to create an immersive experience with VR during which young people are placed in a virtual scenario with an audience as training, and then gives them personalized feedback thanks to AI.
